Nancy received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from University of Illinois in 1991. After practicing out of state for a time, she joined Vida Veterinary Care (then University Hills Animal Hospital) in 1995. She is a partner/owner in Vida Veterinary Care. Nancy is proficient in all aspects of the general practice of veterinary medicine, and has a special interest in surgery. Nancy served on the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine for 8 years and is very active in the not for profit community.
Nancy and her husband have a busy household with 4 children, 3 dogs and 1 cat. Boo and Mike are Brussels mixes adopted from the Dumb Friends League. Auggie, their Boxer mix also came from the DDFL. Mingus is a generic cat that came into our hospital as a kitten.
Jennifer is a native Coloradoan. She attended the University of Colorado at Boulder for her undergraduate degree, then went to Colorado State University, where she received her master’s and veterinary medical degrees. Dr. Delaney joined Vida Veterinary Care in 2006 and became a partner at the practice in 2009. She enjoys working with the squashed faced breeds (English Bulldog, Pug, etc) which she has lots of experience with through her own bulldog named Gracie. She has a wonderful husband and a young son that keeps her very busy. In her free time, she enjoys many outdoor activities including biking, hiking, skiing, running, and hanging out with friends and family.

DVM, Dipl. ACZM (Avian and Exotics Specialist)
Krista was born and raised in New England. She attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and spent her clinical year of veterinary school at Tufts University. After veterinary school, she pursued advanced training in companion animal medicine and surgery during a one year internship at Louisiana State University. Because her passion for animals and the human-animal bond was geared towards non traditional animals kept as companion pets (birds, reptiles, exotic small mammals, fish), Dr Keller enrolled in a 3 year advanced training residency program at the University of California, Davis specializing in companion zoological animal medicine and surgery. In 2014 Dr Keller became board certified in the American College of Zoological Medicine and is one of 8 veterinarians in the world to pursue specialization in Zoological Companion Animals. She has published several articles in national publications such as the Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association and the Journal of Avian Medicine and Surgery and has spoken nationally and internationally on veterinary topics.When not treating birds, exotic small mammals, reptiles and more at Vida Veterinary Care, she is spending time with her 2 dogs (a pug and Brussels griffon), her 2 cats (one who thinks he is a dog), a leopard gecko, an ornery Veiled Chameleon and a cranky African Grey Parrot.

Ceci is originally from Chicago, Illinois. She obtained a law degree from Loyola School of Law in 1994, then went on to earn her doctorate of veterinary medicine from University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2002. She enjoys hiking, movies and spending her free time with her husband Jon and her adorable dog, Elke, a “Chug” (Chihuahua-pug).

Leslie was born in California but grew up moving all over the US and Canada. She attended Colorado State University and received her BS of Biomedical Sciences in 2005 and her DVM in 2009. After graduating from veterinary school Leslie completed a one year internship. Before joining the team at Vida Veterinary Care, Dr. Hicks spent her time practicing emergency and critical care medicine in Aurora, Colorado. Outside of work Leslie enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her husband Adam, dog Brinkley and riding her horse Claus.

Alexis is originally from Long Island, NY but has called Colorado home for the some time now. She received all of her degrees at Colorado State University; a Bachelors in Zoology, Masters in Environmental Health, concentration in Toxicology and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. She then completed a one year rotating internship. Her professional interests include cardiology and internal medicine. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, reading, knitting, hiking, camping and sports.

Kelsey grew up in Manhattan, Kansas. She attended Kansas State University where she received her Bachelors of Science in Biology, and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She then completed an internship in Tucson. Her professional interests include ophthalmology, exotics/wildlife and rehabilitation. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, running, hiking, playing softball and spending time with friends, family and her dog Sage.

Andrea is a Denver native who taught 4th-8th grade in Littleton before becoming a veterinarian. She received her BA in history from Colorado College, her MA in Education from the University of Denver and her DVM from Colorado State University. She completed an internship at the Animal Hospital Specialty Center in Highlands Ranch, CO. Her professional interests include veterinary medical acupuncture, pain management, cardiology, and oncology and she loves volunteering with the Children’s Hospital Prescription Pet Program. In her free time Dr. Carey likes to golf, play volleyball and tennis, watch movies, cheer on local teams and read. She also enjoys spending time with her family, friends and her pets Wilbur (Border Terrier) and Whedbee (cat).

Alison is a native of Denver, Colorado. She attended the University of Pennsylvania, where she received a Bachelor of Arts, and attended the University of Illinois to obtain a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine. Her professional interests include emergency medicine. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.

Dr. W. Preston Stubbs is a native of western New York and grew up in northern Virginia. He is a 1990 graduate of the Virginia- Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine and received his internship training at Cornell University. He completed a residency in small animal surgery at the University of Florida in 1994. Dr. Stubbs is board certified by the American College of Veterinary Surgeons. He has held positions in academic and large private referral practice settings. Dr. Stubbs started Mile High Veterinary Surgical Specialists, a mobile surgical service, in late 2012. He has published numerous articles in refereed journals and has authored several book chapters. Dr. Stubbs has presented many scientific lectures and continuing education presentations both nationally and abroad. He was also featured in the Animal Planet network’s Emergency Vets and ER Vets: Interns television programs. An avid musician/luthier, fly fisherman, and wine enthusiast, he and his wife Laura have 5 children and enjoy life in Denver, Colorado.

Dr. Lindsey Vencill,
Dr. Lindsey Vencill grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area. She attended the University of California at Santa Barbara and attained a bachelor’s degree in zoology with a minor in Spanish. She studied abroad in Madrid, Spain for one year. She then attended veterinary school at the University of California, Davis, where she received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2015. Her special interests include neurology, shelter medicine, and emergency medicine. Dr. Vencill is very excited to be in Colorado and she loves skiing, hiking, wakeboarding, and anything outdoors. Her other hobbies include watching or playing sports, yoga, cooking, country music, and hanging with her cat, Timmy (pictured.)

Dr. Kelsey Davies,
Kelsey grew up in Michigan, but then moved to Seattle to attend the University of Washington where she obtained her BS degree in biology. She returned to the Midwest to do graduate work in public health before obtaining her DVM degree from The Ohio State University. Kelsey completed a one-year rotating internship in Tucson, AZ, and then continued work there as an emergency doctor prior to joining Vida. Her professional interests include surgery, emergency and wildlife/exotic medicine. When not at work, she enjoys hiking, traveling, reading, cooking and snuggling with her two calico cats, Minerva and Nym.

Dr. Bobbi Hafer, originally a farm girl from eastern Wyoming/western Nebraska, is a Kansas State graduate. She received her Bachelors in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Dr. Hafer knew at the young age of five that she wanted to “fix animals”. She has been living her dream ever since. She enjoys caring for all dogs and cats, as well as “scaly and fuzzy ” friends!
Upon graduation, she completed a one year rotating internship in Denver and was on the TV show Emergency Vets. She continued to practice in the Denver area and has joined Vida Veterinary Care, at their new Centennial location. Dr. Hafer takes pride in caring for her patients as if they were her own. She has two mischievous Jack Russell Terriers, Dixie and Wrigley and a cockatiel named Jade. Bobbi and her husband, Justin, have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends; reading, playing volleyball and enjoying the outdoors.

Claire is originally from Atlanta, Georgia but her passion for animals has taken her around the globe. She attended the University of Colorado, Boulder where she obtained her Bachelors of Arts and Sciences with a major in History and a minor in Biology. She then went on to earn her veterinary degree from the University of Sydney. After moving back from Australia, Claire began working at a large 24 hour practice in Fairfax Virginia, but after nearly 4 years of living in Washington, DC, she is thrilled to be back in Colorado.
Her professional interests include feline medicine, pain management, dermatology and senior care. When she is not cuddling with all the animals at work, she loves spending time with her two Australian cats Olive and Maple, and her rescue Newfoundland named Reuben. Claire and her husband have one child, Wilhelmina, whose first word much to her mother’s delight was “KITTY”. Outside of work, she enjoys snowboarding, cooking, paddle boarding and supporting her Atlanta sports teams. Claire feels privileged every day that she is able to care for animals and that she has found a career that brings her so much joy!
