Dr. Bobbi Hafer is originally a farm girl from eastern Wyoming/western Nebraska. She received her Bachelors in Animal Science and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 from Kansas State University. Dr. Hafer knew at the young age of five that she wanted to “fix animals”. She has been living her dream ever since. During her undergraduate and graduate coursework, Dr. Hafer ignited a special interest in the non-traditional pets. She treats dogs, cats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, small rodents, sugar gliders, snakes, lizards, turtles, pet birds, and more.
Upon graduation, she completed a one year rotating internship in Denver and was on the TV show Emergency Vets. She continued to practice in the Denver area and joined Vida Veterinary Care in 2016. Dr. Hafer takes pride in caring for her patients as if they were her own. She has two mischievous Jack Russel Terriers, Wrigley and Ruby. Bobbi and her husband, Justin, have two children. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends; reading, playing volleyball and enjoying the outdoors.
