Digital Radiography for Pets
The veterinary team at Vida Veterinary Care knows that your beloved pet deserves exceptional care at all times. Incredible diagnostics are the best way to achieve complete care for pets. After all, pet diagnostics help us to determine your pet’s health condition so that we can administer proper treatment, efficiently and effectively. Digital x-rays are a diagnostic tool that we often use to evaluate and diagnose a variety of conditions.
Benefits of Digital Radiography
As a part of our commitment to providing the best possible care for our patients, we are equipped with digital radiography which allows us to provide our patients with safer, more efficient imaging services. Digital radiography is safer for our patients because it exposes them to less radiation by making imaging easier to complete. To ensure that our technology is always safe and effective for your pet, we have our equipment inspected regularly.
We are always happy to discuss any further questions or concerns regarding radiology. We want you to feel completely at ease with the decisions you make about your pet’s health and well-being. Please contact us with your questions and concerns.
Veterinary endoscopy is a minimally invasive way to view the body, take tissue samples, retrieve foreign bodies, or provide treatment. We are able to use this tool to view or take samples from areas of the body that we would ordinarily view via a surgical incision, or be unable to see because the area is too small to see clearly with the naked eye. The endoscope is a tool that has a tiny camera mounted on the end to make visualizing internal organs so much easier! Some of the areas we may visualize using the endoscope include bladder, colon, ears, nasal sinuses, small intestines, and stomach.
As a part of Vida Veterinary Care’s commitment to providing exceptional care to our patients, as well as exceptional education to our clients, we invite you to contact us if you have any questions about our endoscopy tool or wonder how it can benefit your pet.
In-House Lab Testing
At Vida Veterinary Care, we have a full-service laboratory on-site, allowing us to make a quicker diagnosis and treat your pet more effectively. Our full-service in-house lab allows us to process blood, urine, and fecal tests, as well as other important pet diagnostics, quickly and efficiently, without the need to send out to another lab.
Our team is constantly working to ensure that we have the most up-to-date technology available in our office and the most educated team members to process diagnostics. Our strict attention to quality control helps to ensure that each of our patients receives accurate and consistent results.
If you have questions or concerns about your pet’s health, please contact us. We are committed to providing complete information to pet owners to help you with making the decisions that you need to make about your pet’s health.
Ultrasound for Pets
The Vida Veterinary Care team utilizes veterinary ultrasound for a variety of purposes at our practice. Ultrasound allows us to view the body internally to check for foreign bodies, injuries, pregnancies, and so much more. While an x-ray displays an image of internal organs, the ultrasound can visualize organs in action, helping our veterinarians better identify potential complications.
